This is a fun little place. They have delicious donuts, but they also have a full Hershey's ice cream selection. The hard part is convincing my kids they can't have both when we're there! It's a tiny little place in not the nicest shopping center, so we hesitated to go in the first time. We're glad we did though. It's also open 24 hours!

Have only been once & donuts were ok...I would like to try & get them fresh. Could possibly try again

Sour cream donuts are amazing! Pumpkin and Apple are good as well. One of the only late night "date" places around.

Every once in awhile I will stop in to get a Donut fix. The donuts are ok but I they are far from the best. I think mostly the location and the hours of operation gives this place an edge. Easy to get in and out of and they also have a drive thru. The service is hit and miss. This morning at 5:30 I was served by a lady that just looked like she was so very unhappy to be there and I felt as if I was asking her to go out of her way to get me 6 donuts. Just an great attitude to deal with first thing in the morning. (not) Its ok to grab a quick breakfast but 4 -5 stars....NOT in my book.

Pretty good donuts. Not the best and not the worst. Service was good, but I did notice once when was there that an employee who was mopping the floor didn't wash his hands before he served a customer. Hence the three stars.

Very friendly service! The donuts are great too! IMO the donuts are fresher here than anywhere else in town. The joint is bright and clean too. All-in-all, great place!

Came here in a pinch and was pleased. The 24 hour drive thru was quick and efficient. The coffee & donut really hit the spot for my hangover. Even though I was a bit disoriented, the staff was patient (extra star for that!) I only wish I could've tried some of the ice cream!

Everything is delicious and the staff is very nice. I suggest the blueberry donut or the ham egg and cheese croissant. But don't forget your coffee either.

Delicious. Almost as good as Krispy Kreme. Their donuts are always fresh and soft. Make sure to get some milk!

Really rude cashiers!! I went to the drive thru asked for a banana split with Caramel Truffle and Strawberry, with all the toppings except for nuts and just because it wasn't the traditional banana split, they RUDELY told us to pull up to the cashiers window. I then re repeated my order. She asked me to verify that I wanted it without nuts. I replied telling her that that was correct, no nuts. I come home, open the banana split, and what do I find? Melted ice cream with nuts!!

Woohoo! As good as it gets! - Is totally relative... Being from DC, fabulosity must be relative when traveling outside and reviewing elsewhere. So in the spirit of relative fabulousness, The Donut Connection in Lexington Park, MD, is definitely as good as it gets. Cases of ice cream, soft serve, fresh donuts, coffee house drinks, scratch lottery tickets, keno, and video horse racing. Yes, all this can be yours in one little 5 table establishment in Southern Maryland. The business is family owned, the staff is friendly, and the selection of everything, including scratchers, is second to none. If you find yourself south of the city and in need of a refresher, stop in, talk to Sonny and tell him I sent you over.
